| In 2004 Unilever changed Bovril from the Beef Extract drink we know and loveto "A concentrated Savoury Yeast Extract Drink
" This was yet another attack on our traditional foods and yet it was so unnecassary
This website, an annex of my existing Blueyonder websiite, was set up to allow people to voice their anger and highlight the inconsistancies of Unilever Bestfoods in this matter
Mean while I have Finally tracked a pot down.

On 02 September 2006 they
announced that beef would be returning and the vegetarian recipie
discontinued. This website will remain open as a record of this whole
sorry tale, and to point out the Unilever Bestfoods is missing a
trick here to have three varieties of Bovril, Beef, Chicken and
Veggie. Unilever Bestfoods certainly likes to disenfranchise
it's customers.My thoughts on the return of Beefy Bovril
